This Privacy Policy describes how Rad Radish (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information.  This Privacy Policy also tells you about your rights and choices with respect to your personal information, and how you can reach us to get answers to your questions.

We collect information about you in a variety of ways depending on how you interact with us and our products and services.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information directly from you when you provide it to us.  The following provides examples of the type of personal information we collect and how we use that information.

If you apply for a job posting or become an employee, we collect information necessary to process your application (such as your name, email address, Resume, and Cover Letter) or to retain you as an employee.  This may include, among other things, your Social Security Number.  Providing this information is required for employment.

Participate in surveys

We collect information that you provide when you participate in one of our surveys.  If the survey is provided by a third-party service provider, the third party’s privacy policy applies to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information.

We use this information to understand your opinions and collect information relevant to our organization.

Contact Us

When you contact us, including filling out a form on our website, we collect your name, contact information (including e-mail address, mailing address or phone number) as well as the content of the message or communication you send to us. 

We use this information to respond to your customer service requests and support needs or follow up on your feedback, inquiries, or other requests.

Take part in an event, sweepstakes, contest, or promotion

If you take part in an event, sweepstakes, contest, or other similar promotion, we collect information about you including your name and contact information.

We use this information to notify you if you are selected.  In some contexts, we are also required by law to collect certain information about those that enter into our sweepstakes.

Place an order online 

If you place an order on one of our websites, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address (if applicable), and payment details (payment card number, expiration date, CVV/CVC, etc).


If you purchase a gift card, we collect your name, the recipient’s name, the recipient’s email, and your payment details. 

We use this information to process your order and to provide you with the products or services you have requested.

Place an order in our restaurant

When you place an order inside our restaurants, we collect your name, payment information and signature, and in some cases your e-mail address (if you want an e-mailed receipt).

We use this information to process your order and to provide you with the products or services you have requested.

Sign up for our mailing list

When you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your name and e-mail address.

If you choose to provide us with your e-mail address for the purpose of receiving promotional materials, we use this information to send you company news, updates, related product or service information, and other promotional materials.

Interact with us on social networks        

If you interact with us through our official page on social networks, or if you publish content on a social network or participate in online forums, we collect any content that you choose to provide, which may include your social media handle or account profile.           

We use this information to communicate with you, understand your opinions, and provide tailored services and products.

If you receive email from us, we use certain tools to capture data related to when you open our message, click on any links or banners it contains and make purchases.

We have a legitimate interest in understanding how you interact with our website to better improve it, and to understand your preferences and interests in order to select offerings that you might find most useful.  We also have a legitimate interest in detecting and preventing fraud.

Web logs

We collect information, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to a computer when the Internet is used), domain name, click-activity, referring website, and/or a date/time stamp for visitors.

We have a legitimate interest in monitoring our networks and the visitors to our websites.  Among other things, it helps us understand which of our services is the most popular.


Information We Obtain From Other Sources

In addition to the information that we collect from you directly, we also receive information about you from other sources, including third parties, business partners, and our affiliates under contract, or publicly available sources. For example, if you submit a job application, or become an employee, we may conduct a background check.

How We Use Information

In addition to the purposes and uses described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we collect and use information for the following purposes: 

  • To administer our website and ensure our website operates properly and efficiently.

  • To communicate with you, including responding to and/or following up on your requests, inquiries, issues or feedback.

How We Share Information

In addition to the specific situations discussed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may disclose information in the following situations:

  • Our Affiliates.  We may share information with our corporate affiliates (e.g., other companies under common control) for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Service Providers.  We disclose information to our third-party service providers, who provide services such as website hosting, data storage, data analysis, IT services and infrastructure, delivery services, payments processing, customer service, email delivery and administration, auditing and other similar services.
  • Legal Process.  We may disclose information in response to subpoenas, warrants, court orders, government inquiries or investigations, or to comply with relevant laws and regulations. We may also disclose information to establish, exercise, or protect the rights of our company, employees, agents, and affiliates; to defend against a legal claim; to protect the safety and security of our visitors; to detect and protect against fraud; and to take action regarding possible illegal activities or violations of our policies. 
  • Business Transactions.  We may disclose information to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceeding), including at the negotiation stage.
  • Other Disclosures with Your Consent.  We may ask if you would like us to share your information with other third parties who are not described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party service providers (such as advertising and analytics providers) use cookies, web beacons, clear GIF, pixels, internet tags, and other similar tracking technologies (collectively, ‘tracking technologies”) to gather information when you interact with our websites and email communications. Some tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our websites and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions. These tracking technologies are “required” because we need them for the websites to work properly. We don’t provide the option to opt-out of these tracking technologies, but you can remove these “required” tracking technologies by modifying your browser settings. Please note, some features of our websites may not be available to you as a result.

We permit third parties to use tracking technologies on our websites for analytics to understand how visitors interact with our websites. For example, we use Google Analytics to evaluate website traffic and usage data to help us improve our products and services. Your Choices

You can make the following choices regarding your personal information:

  • Marketing and Promotional Emails.  If you no longer wish to receive marketing and/or promotional communications from us, you may unsubscribe or opt-out at any time by following the instructions contained in the individual marketing and/or promotional message you receive from us or contact us using the information listed in the “Contacting Us” section below.        Please note, if you opt out of receiving marketing and/or promotional communications from us, we may still send you transactional communications (such as administrative and service announcements).
  • Access to Your Personal Information.  You may request access to the personal information we maintain about you by following the instructions described below.
  • Changes to Your Personal Information.  We rely on you to update and correct your personal information.  Most of our websites allow you to modify or delete your account profile.  If our website does not permit you to update or correct certain information, you contact us at the address described below in order to request that your information be modified.  Note that we may keep historical information in our backup files as permitted by law.        
  • Deletion of Your Personal Information.  Typically, we retain your information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.  You may request that we delete your personal information by following the instructions described below.  Please note that in certain situations, and to the extent permitted by law, we may be required to keep your personal information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, to protect against fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity, or for another one of our business purposes.
  • Do Not Track Signals.  Some Internet browsers have a “do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked.        Because these features are not yet uniform, our website do not currently process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

How to Submit a Request 

To submit a request to access or delete your personal information, please contact us by email at privacy@eatradradish.com.   In order to process your request, we must be able to verify your identity to make sure you are the person about whom we have collected personal information or an authorized representative.   Depending on the type of request, we may conduct the verification process by email or phone using information that matches our records.  The information you must provide as part of the verification process may include: [name, contact information (such as email address or phone number), relationship with us (employee or customer), and residency].  We may also ask for additional information as needed based on your relationship with us. 

If you are a California resident, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf to access or delete your personal information.  To do so, you must (1) provide that authorized agent written and signed permission to submit such request, and (2) verify your own identity directly with us.

If you have been designated as an authorized agent to submit a request on behalf of another person, you must (1) download and complete this Authorized Agent Designation Form and have it signed by the individual, and (2) attach the signed form when you submit a request by emailing us at privacy@eatradradish.com.  Please note, we may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized to submit such request.

Review of Requests

In some cases, we may limit or deny your requests.   This may occur because the law permits or requires us to do so, or if we are unable to adequately verify your identity.

How We Protect Information

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is fully secure.  While we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.  In the event that we are required by law to inform you of any unauthorized access to your personal information we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law.

Some of our websites permit you to create an account.  When you do you will be prompted to create a password.  You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and you are responsible for any access to or use of your account by someone else that has obtained your password, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by you.  You should notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or account.

Children’s Privacy 

Our services are not intended for or directed to children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.

For your convenience, we may provide links to third-party websites or services provided by third-parties that are not operated or controlled by us.  Please note, we have no control over the privacy practices of websites or services that we do not own.  We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website or application for details about what information is collected and how it is used and/or shared.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination.        You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights described in this Privacy Policy.  We do not discriminate against California residents who exercise any of their rights described in this Privacy Policy.
  • California’s “Shine the Light” Law.You may ask us to describe what categories of personal information (if any) we share with affiliated companies or third parties for their direct marketing purposes, and the names of those companies.  You may receive a copy of this notice by submitting a written request to us at the addresses listed below in the “Contacting Us” section below.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time.  To the extent that our policy changes in a material way, the policy that was in place at the time that you submitted personal information to us will generally govern that information unless we receive your consent to the new privacy policy.  Our Privacy Policy includes an “effective” and “last updated” date.  The effective date refers to the date that the current version took effect.  The last updated date refers to the date that the current version was last substantively modified.
